Recession or not, being real estate owners, we must protect our investments

At the same time as we are writing these lines, there is still a lot of talking going on about recession and economic depression in large parts of the Planet, and Quebec, even if it seems better protected, will also have to deal with it... We must however, as businessmen or as businesswomen and as owners of residential real estate, continue to make our investments grow.

The real-estate sector is still in very good shape in Quebec, and we must see to it that we always remain diligent about our business, make our investments profitable and also keep in mind to adjust our rental rates. We should also remain very vigilant when tenants are defaulting on their rental payments and failing to behave well, act rapidly, and take the necessary measures when need be in order to protect our goods and our investments as owners.

In periods when the consumer is more sensitive, we must manage more efficiently, keep our dwellings in good condition, and take all the measures necessary to obtain high-quality tenants.
