There are more than 160 municipalities now, including Montreal and Québec City, who, by 2024, will have prohibited by regulation any harmful products used during lawn treatment.
In Montreal, 36 active ingredients, including glyphosate, will be banned from both use and sale.
As of springtime 2024, only biopesticides will be authorized in Québec City.
So when you contract a landscaping company, take the time to read all the clauses and products used by it!
